Permanent anti-static fabrics

Toray's permanent anti-static fabric was developed using Toray's new polyester yarn that includes a high concentration of a proprientary antistatic agent. Toray's advanced polymerization and polymer modification technologies made it possible to position the antistatic agent in the yarn with a lengthwise orientation. This allows electric charges to easily pass through to achieve superior antistatic properties in low-temperature, low-humidity conditions, something that Toray's conventional antistatic lining materials could not do.
